Mixed Media: Handmade papers, acrylic paint and found objects

Leslie Zemenek was born on the east coast and started painting as soon as she was old enough to hold a brush. She studed privately with Art Students League member Gladyce Sherman, then went on to study design at Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

Her creative ventures have taken her on a winding path through the worlds of fashion, food and digital design. But working in paint and collage remains her first and greatest love.
