Nancy Kramer recently spent 6 months in Benin, French West Africa, and was inspired to create Christmas cards in December 2002 for friends back in the States. Relying solely on memory, she depicts Vegas, one of her two cats, driving the sled, while cat-sister Zoe - normally the Alpha cat of the house - kicks back and enjoys the ride. Homesickness and malaria were two of the hardest things Nancy dealt with while she was away. She is delighted to be back at home in Portland, where she will stay put for quite a while.
